In November 2011, The Bull appointed a new head chef – Mark Blake – who has more than 25 years’ experience in the food and drink industry.
During that time, he has worked in a number of award winning restaurants and pubs including The Crown at Stoke by Nayland where he spent six years, as well as a number of leading gastropubs in London and restaurants in Melbourne, Australia.
Mark has worked with the award winning team at The Bull to design a series of new menus as well as a selection of daily fish specials, which is Mark’s particular passion.
Mark says: “With such an incredible larder of produce available on our doorstep, The Bull has built itself a reputation for hearty food and big flavours. The introduction of the new menu will ensure we continue to build on these values and I am excited to be part of the passionate team at the restaurant.”
